"Cherish the ladies" would be the perfect description for the the fiddle-playing duet, Virginie and Charlotte. A cleverly orchestrated balance between classical influences, jazz improvisations and gypsy rythms gives us a resounding, moving, intimate, lively, almost celstial musical experience. From time to time "the guest musicians" that are a button key accordion, tablas, a double bass, and percussion add a personal touch resulting in a multicolor musical mosaic.

This album is a recording of compositions for dancing (in Auvergne) which renovates a repertoire of standards, mostly. It is intended for any ball music lover, be they a dancer or a musician. The melodies are directly inspired by the biggest references of the style, whose main center of interest is the dynamics of the diato/violin duo, sometimes in unison and sometimes in polyphony.

Homogeneous, bewitching and intense, this music inspired by Mediterranean cultures introduces a superb and vibrant voice backed by violins, bouzouki, didgeridoo and percussion instruments. The songs are written in Chkouboulak, a curious, imaginative musical language with mysterious roots, and invite us to join them in a dreamlike fable. Antelma Duz (in chkouboulak) means something like "search together through song".
