Half compilation, half album, Labesse - meaning "are you alright?" - builds a bridge between Electronic and Oriental music. It is an experiment in gathering up-and-coming Oriental artists like U-Cef & Amina, Mei Tei Shô & Ganoub, Dj ClicK & Black Sifichi, Mazaher & Pasco, Gnawa Njoum Exp, Magic Malik, Hightone, and Smadj. DJ ClicK imposed some challenges on himself by reprogramming the classical Egyptian rhythm Malful. All his compositions are always inspired by traditional instruments such as the nay (oblique oriental flute), the oriental flute, the oud, the guimbri (dromedary skin double bass) or percussion instruments.
Released in 2005.
