Atmospheres wrapped in the legend, peopled by fabulous creatures, are here evoked by the Kaval (traditional Bulgarian straight flute) and Gaida (bagpipe) of Veselin Mitev (Bulgaria) and the percussions of Mohsen Kasirossafar (Iran). A spontaneous, happy and worthy union of the most genuine bucolic and pastoral tradition, reached to us from a remote and common past of the ancient Indo-European cultures. Fanciful melodies of sylvan songs come to the surface, at times uncontaminated from the noise of the centuries. The myth of the Arcadians seems to revive in deep and evocative notes of the pipes, in the refined rhythms of the Persian Tombak and Daf.
