Tao Ravao & Vincent Bucher
An unexpected Blues encounter between two artists : the Madagascan guitarist and singer Tao Ravao and the French harmonicist Vincent Bucher. Tao Ravao arrived in France when he was 12 years old. Later on, he worked with Homesick James, the father of the electric blues. Vincent Bucher, for his part, worked with Sugar Blue, Louisiana Red and Jimmy Johnson. Together, they are creating a new kind of blues loaded with African flavours.

Both musicians have recorded a colorful album featuring the percussionnist Emile Biayenda. Vincent Bucher offers an outstanding performance on "Hiwèté", a cover of a classic Ethiopian song of the 60's and the 70's. Released in June 2008.
